3 column blog, thats standard for placing the ads, looks ok. cant pass that ads if i want to get to categories

 

Good ads placement. I guess that you should get CTR around 13%+ from this optimization.

in options of wordpress u have some formats to choose, date format + thread name is not bad

 

i have similar layout and CTR is not even close to 5%. check www.techyboys.com. yesterday my CTR was 3.64%

 

Go to wp-admin > Options > Permalinks > Custom, specify below... In that field, paste "/%postname%-%post_id%.html".

That is what I use on my wordpress sites.

Also install the Seo Title tag plugin

 

That is because your blog is aimed at tech savvy people who are less likely to click on ads. IE users are the best clickers
