Hi Everyone I totally get the concept of Twitter and totally love it. I deleted my Facebook account because no matter how private I made my profile I still had someone from 200 miles away finding out my whereabouts and posts even though him and his friends were blocked. Twitter is great for me, allows me to vent my spleen, partake in online trends, see what the rich and famous are up to, etc, all with a certain degree of anonymity. Is it all possible to see if a specific Tweeter us viewing your profile? I suspect someone is who is not a follower is reading my Twitter feed and making spiteful comments using the same hashtags so I do see their comments. Everytime I post something a snide comment or insult comes up from them shortly afterwards and although I just ignore it and never tweey anthing back, it is upsetting. I suppose I may have become a bit paranoid as a result of my Facebook experience and at times I do find myself checking out their Twitter because of my paranoia. In turn may be making the situation worse if they can see that I am viewing their tweets also. I know there are tools out there to count your general views, and give Twitter statistics like followers, unfollowers, etc. But can you specifically see if a certain Tweeter (name, location, IP address, etc) is viewing your feed/tweets? I did Google it and it said not but these were posts from months and years ago and the way things move forward I just wondered if anything has changed. I suppose I just want peace of mind that the Facebook stalker has not followed me on to Twitter Thanks in advance Dragongirl Katie
Hi, there are tools which track unfollowers but I'm afraid that there is no way to find out who visited your profile. Only Twitter knows users' IP address.
Malicious comments can be annoying. I totally understand what you mean. I've had to create new facebooks several times to avoid people who were just being mean for no reason. Unfortunately there is no way to see if people are reading your tweets. The best/only thing you can do to prevent this thing from happening is making your Twitter account private.
