I am advised to check the fine print when using articles. What is your experience? Have you had upsets that cost you? What does one need to look out for? What are normal conditions apart from acknowledging the source?
Your right, the general rule is that you have to acknowledge the source... but with some article directories they want you to have clickable links and keep everything exactly the same, not changing the title and keeping every link in the article clickable. But some directories I think are ok with maybe not doing all of that, but just using plain text to say where it came from. I don't think the article directories themselves would contact anyone for not following their rules, but it would most likely be the original author contacting them.
