Cool! I signed up for Google adsense email on Fryman's recommendation yesterday. Just got an email that you can now have Google Desktop display adsense earnings with a new plugin.

    http://desktop.google.com/

You need the new version of Google Desktop, smart move by G once again.

I've uninstalled this for a while...it was running fine for a few days then suddenly one day I was getting 100% cpu usage from gooogleindexer.exe. tried uninstall and reinstall but the same...anyone else having the same problem? It was great until this happened.

The search feature is a nessesity. I don't know how I've lived without it. I often code something and there's a certain function or something I want to reuse.

Before I'd be hunting websites trying to remember where I used it, now I just search :)

The email search is also fantastic, outlook feature is useless in comparison.

In fairness the only downside is security, if someone sat at my pc they could use it and invade privacy.

I don't use hotmail, but as a example it caches all pages visited. Including emails incoming or the ones you're writing. Scarey. It needs a password facility imo.
