Does anybody know how people cheat their site's pagerank? You can even see it with the domains people sell on digitalpoint. Crap domain with nothing on the site and crap domains that are less than a month old and have a PR of 5+....obviously BS. Anybody know how they fluff it up like that? Is it just through cheap link software/redirects? Or something else? Would love some insight.

That's what I figured. Is there any way to check before buying a domain that a seller is doing this in the source code? or not due to the cloaking software? Other than simply looking at how blatantly pathetic the domain/website quality of most of these sales are...
