that's the least of their problems *cough*copyrights*cough*

 

isnt it ok, since Youtube is owned by Google?

 

But is it illigal? because it has content on the page?

I have contacted google yesterday about displaying youtube videos with adsence on my other website hopefully they allow it or they are basically admitting they have copyrighted content on youtube.

 

i had a site just like that with pop up's and google said it wasnt allowed

 

I aways thought the popup was when you only had google adsence on the popup.

you can email google and they will more than likely put the domain name on the banned list till it is fixed if it is considered against TOS

 

but its not an advertising popup, its the same as something being opened in a new window, like if i open a page on a website that just so happens to open in a new window (with adsense on it)....is that a violation of the TOS?

that web site isn't breaking any TOS as it has content on the site, and YOU request that it opens. Its not a popup.

I contacted google and they are saying I cannot put adsence on my site arcaderush.net because of the videos + adult games (I thought I got rid of all the adult games) I have replied about the fact that they own youtube I will await their reply.

They basically said NO because of copyright.

I was on that site for about 2 hours yesterday watching anime makes me want to start a similar one.

I have seen tons of sites with google adsence with videos so im not sure why they allow some and not others

 

it's allowed if they arent copyrighted like a home video someone made or something

 

I wonder if Google cuts breaks for big sites like that?
I mean they allow their ads in newsletters for special sites that are big enouph. Could peekvid.com be such a site?

 

surely it's not copyright though! as you are allowed to put youtube videos anywhere, thats what youtube is for!
so how can it be copyright?

 

Based on what I see, peekvid.com isn't a big site. It's very amateurish, with no original content. All the videos are stolen from youtube.

using adseense breaks the google tos. i think he will be banned from google

theres copyrighted material AND its in a popup window.

 

Google are so kind I basically attacked him and his reply was the above.

I have personally tried in the past to gain permission to use game artwork and its basically impossible if you are a small business. < Just saying gaining permission is next to impossible.

I asked google about peekvid I await their reply.

you are requesting the popup, its just like opening something in a new window.
