    Interesting CASE STUDY i found at Sitepoint. [ref: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3582639]

    Once again CPXInteractive reputation is on stake...
    the guy presents all evidences and proofs that how did CPX cheated this poor guy.

    ==========================================================

    I was referred to CPXinterative by my good friend, who said they have good reputation. So added them in RMXDirect. BUT it was all MYTH. Don't believe ? Here is TRUE STORY, with full proof.
    HOW CPXInteractive cheated me...

    It had been more than 3 months I had not recieved any PAYMENT eventhough I had crossed $50 threshold from CPX. So just out of curiosity I asked CPXInteractive support guys (which keeps on changing, atleast Name) on Aug 16, 2007. They simply balked out I had not earned more than $0.02.

    That was first when I doubted about their reputation.
    I asked my RMXDirect accout manager, he was too surprised to see such response. According to my RMXDirect reporting interface, I had made more than $100 by then.

    Then later after few conversations for ard. 10 - 20 days My RMXdirect account. Manager (BTW he is Shane) sorted out there was some glitch on CPX side system which caused my RMX account not visible to CPX guys and said its fixed.

    So, later on 17th Sept 2007 (ITS BEEN EXACTLY ONE MONTH THAT I FIRST CORRESPONDED WITH THEM) I got new news;

    Well, I was happy but even after a week I didn't get ANY PAYMENT IN MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

    I corresponded with both my RMX Acc. Manager and CPX Account Support but hardly do i got any response quicky. It would take nearly a week to just get this email;

    On 26th Sept 2007

    Well, they say they have already send payment, but I have not received on my account. I dont think amount gets lost in air while being transffered to Paypal. I have been using paypal for more than a year now, and have recieved payment online from many people never had i lost any money.

    PAYPAL PAYMENT RECIEVED SCREENSHOTS

    [IMG]

    On 8th Oct. 2007 I got following email response from my RMX Accout Manager;

    I had clearly replied I HAVE NOT YET RECIEVED ANY AMOUNT.
    Since then I have NEVER HEARD FROM them - neither CPX guys nor RMX guys....

    Had my livelyhood depended upon that amount, WHAT would have happened to me ? - Its been 2 months I have been asking for my self earned money ...

    I realise people who have been with CPX for long time and getting payment regularly might simply ignore my problem. But its time to check, are you on the SAFE HANDS. When a company doesn't pay such SMALL AMOUNT (~$200), how can you believe that they will pay ~$xxxx of your earnings !

    There is an old saying, which my grandfather always used to say;

    If you go into the dark forest and come alive, that doesn't mean there isn't any wild (man-eater) tiger there. You might have got lucky that time, but not everyone would be lucky AND NOT EVERYTIME you can get lucky !

    PS: Any comments, justification (logical) or better SOLUTION to this problem from publishers and EVEN FROM CPX, RMX support managers are welcomed.
    In case I missed anything or upon need of ANY KIND OF PROOF regarding above facts, I can provide easily.

    What are your experience with CPX. Has CPX turned into corrupt SCAM Ad company like Interclick ?
