Hi, I am trying to figure out what the best way of accepting card transactions in USD is with a UK (GBP) bank account and without a merchant account (or with a cheap merchant account). Currently I use Paypal but in addition to their transaction fees they charge 2.3% on currency conversions. Looking for a cheaper alternative.
Well Capital one credit cards do not charge a foreign transaction fee. They are the only major credit card company that does not charge foreign transaction fees. Credit union debit cards and some smaller credit card companies charge 1% foreign transaction fees. -----------dini Patel
