Name.com is the cheapest domain registrar. Their service is the best too, and very professional. You can usually find coupons too here: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/name.com

I have about 60 domains with them, and no issues. Stay away from Godaddy.

I don`t know about the rest, but I`m still with Godaddy.com . Domains starting from 1.99$/year and .com for 10.69$/year.

NameCheap are quite cheap, apart from their .info's. Also all their domains come with free WHOIS protection.

same problem with me too... i want to know the cheapest registrar with ""NO CATCH"... did my research but still confused

Godaddy (people say stay away wonder why?)
    Networksolutions (not that cheap)
    Hover.com (same as above)
    name.com (not many freebies)
Bigrock.com (never heard anything about them, but cheap pricing)

which one should i go with?

the reason why I would say stay away from GoDaddy is bcz as a marketing guy ;) I know that they are just sucking ppl in using good and expensive marketing to pull themselves forward in the industry. They are more about branding and image cz for sure they're are tons of other domain registrar that offer stuff much cheaper and better then GoDaddy its just they dont for whatever reason have heavy marketing core. GoDaddy will use all forms of marketing and at times it gets annoying cz to me they appear as wanting to grab money from my pocket every time. They even call after u purchase something, apparently for customer satisfaction call but then try to sell u other services like hosting, etc. kinda annoying.

in a nutshell.. GoDaddy is money grab. I would recommend NameCheap for domain registrar.

Stay away from Godaddy because they always try to sell you something. Also, they can't even secure their own web site. (Constantly getting hacked).

I have used name.com for years, their support is great, prices are really low, and I have about 60 domains with them. They are the only registrar I currently use.

People keep throwing out names, no one is throwing out prices.

GoDaddy has coupons going year round to register .coms for $7.49.
Right now they have the same coupon for .org and .net ($7.49).

They also typically have $10 off $40 coupons and whatnot for the others.

I have yet to see anything cheaper at the other registrars.

Godaddy is the cheapest if you have time to search for their coupon codes each time before checkout.
However I like name.com. It's not about the costs. I just like to work with professionals.
