    Where your tech agreed to refund. I have asked a number of times, in which you have denied it. Creating a fake story of spamming

    and to spam.

    The techie is not from sales department which handles refunds. He is only concerned with technical aspects of hosting. That said, after his response, I would have provided the refund. But, spamming from the VPS is violation of the TOS & USA laws & now you are not entitled to a refund.

    It is not a Fake story. We have proof of files uploaded & later deleted, & emails sent in between.

    Also, you have signed up with fake details. Your address is Florida, & your IP is from Chicago, IL, 1500 KM away. Your PayPal account is in a different name than the one you have used to signup.

    We will provide all of this to Paypal, if they re-open the dispute (haven't done it for nearly 8 hours)

    Our tech said we would refund, which we would have, if you hadn't spammed. We have logs & backups to prove it.

    You have not answered why your IP & your address are 1500 Km away, thus Fake & why your PayPal name doesnt match the name you signed up with.

    And they order servers on vacations & they use fake names than their PayPal accounts ?

    The /var/log/maillog has already been posted earlier. Remaining information will be provided to PayPal when they ask for it.

    Here are 2 screenshots of the backup time & the time when you asked for the refund.

    Time when you asked for refund - 28/10/2009 15:25
    [img=http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/4851/askrefund.th.png]

    Time when backup was taken (which contains your uploaded files & the mail logs) - 28_10_09_at_00_46_25.tgz - 28/10/2009 - 00:46

    [img=http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/8803/okflingvpsbackups.th.png]

    We caught you spamming 14 hours before you asked for a refund.

    Edit - screenshot of files used to spam & the count when backup was taken.

    [img=http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/3046/mailfilesmailcount.png]

    As everyone can see, the mail count increased & the files were later deleted.

    yes I work on vacation. What are you saying here? I am using stolen funds to buy accounts?

    Showing a backup log does not prove spamming. You guys were on the vps more then me. Show proof I put anything on the server, ip logs, or that I did any spamming, ip logs again and key log.

    Otherwise, you are just lying to keep my money.

    Clearly it is YOUR mistake. YOU are the one who spammed, EVERY HOST has the right to deny you refund if you abused their service in the wrong ways. LaceHost has every right to not refund you. Now, the case would be different if you didn't do anything wrong and asked for a refund, but your the in the clear. Leave your loses and move on.

    Also, why would LaceHost put their reputation on the line JUST to keep a few bucks? Use your common sense. LaceHost has many other hosts that are satisfied and can get plenty of money out of them to run their business. In the end, it is YOUR fault, not theirs.

    Thank you Hamza :)

    Ok, here we go, final proof.

    You signed up with hostname - server.pool333.com

    The emails you sent contain -

    Now, let's reverse ip the domain name which is in the spam email - gohavefun123.com -

    http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/?hostname=gohavefun123.com

    Only 3 domains hosted here & one of which is pool333.com

    Both domains have Whois protection from the same agency & if we do delve deeper, we will find them to be owned by the same person.

    Nothing came out about spamming until hours after I said I halted the server and asked for a refund again. Then there was all this talk about spamming.

    I have proved above that we found out about the spam 14 hours before you asked for a refund/halted your vps.

    I have also proved that you own the domain name which was in the spam email.

    If that is not proof enough, you should go to school again & study common sense, instead of spamming about porn sites.

    where did you prove 14 hours before? I can do a screen shot when you reported it to me, hours after I asked for a refund.

    The domain uses namecheaps info protection. so I host at namecheap also. must be me.

    No where have you proved anything. Just making up more things to avoid refunding on a product you could not deliver in a timely mannor

    Actually, submitting a chargeback was your second mistake. If you don't know how the system works, submitting a chargeback means that you have allowed your bank to think that this was an illegal purchase that you DID NOT authorize. Clearly you authorized it in the first place and then asked for a REFUND. Your bank will be doing a deep investigation as banks, especially Chase Bank (I have a business/personal account with Chase), and will be asking BOTH parties. LaceHost will be contacted as well, and so will you.

    Good luck losing.

    You own the spammed domain. It is hosted in your account at namecheap. How could we know about the domain name unless it was in the spam messages that you sent ?

    We found out about the mailing lists & php mailer files 14 hours before you asked for a refund. We took a backup right away as proof, which we can use now. We got the spam complaint afterwards & that is when we notified you.
