It's not worth the hassle. There are some sites which let you have a free domain name in exchange for completing offers, such as http://www.freedomainsite.com/free_domain_details.htm , but if you're serious about making money online, what's $10? Besides, if your site doesn't work out, you've got a whole year to make your site worth $10 and then you can sell to get your money back or even make a small profit.

I registered a .info domain at 1and1 (Just for testing purpose)

Although their price is cheap but adding an Credit card is mandatory,Also the registration is not instant. It takes upto 24 hours (The domains I ordered are still available for registration ...So there are chances that I may loose my choice )

I should have selected godaddy and will recommend others to opt for godaddy rather than 1and 1.com

EDIT : Just now I came to know that 1and1 .com dosent support free Push (WTF!! )
I have canceled my order (My domains are still unregistered as the registration is not instant..I will pay 20cent extra and register them at godaddy)

That's a great list there and here is a few more good deals that should be on that list:

.com at Mydomain.com = $7.61 or as low as $5.95 in bulk when using coupon "bargaincat.com"

    .net at Dotster.com = $6.25 when using coupon "bargaincat.net"

    For those interested in .ME:
(.ME requires 2yr registration so all prices are for 2 yrs)

    -Moniker:$39.72
    -GoDaddy: $39.98
    -NameCheap:$43.96
    -DomainMonster:$49.98
    -DirectNic: $58
    -Netfirms: $59.90

Namecheap may be the best deal as they include private registration for free for the initial registration (not renewal). I know GoDaddy charges extra and Im not sure about Moniker.

I always use godaddy but do a google search for godaddy discount coupons before i buy.
Always get it for about $6.00 or less.
