I bought 2 domains with ipower. The first one I bought they were quick in replys and help. The second one took about 12 hours for them to respond. So I guess its a 50/50 deal with ipower at this point.

don't ever try ipowerweb. they don't have a 24/7 support and have to wait for almost 24 hours to get an email reply just to get the documents. And what's more?!? my domain name was snatched and was registered by another company. I totally lost my domain name and have to wait for a year to at least try to get it!!!

Thanks for the heads up! Their prices really do look tempting.

    there is a catch ..
    The renewal is 14.95$..

I have 2 now .. let me see what to do.

That's what I encountered, too! Initially, I thought the domain is already parked but when I checked the whois database, it's already registered on another registrar. The domain admin is even cloaked as it is supposedly provided free of charge. That even gave me the impression that the domain name is really registered to me with all those email confirmation from ipower. But I can't manage it through manage.opensrs.net.

I think ipower and ipowerweb is the same company.

not yet try their service because $1.95 is without Whois Privacy unless you don't bother the Whois Privacy why not have a try.

Dotster is doing another Happy Hour again this Thursday. $1 domain name registration. Good for .com, .net, .org, .biz, .us, and .info.

Can you transfer a domain that you have bought from ipowerweb easily or do they make it difficult? Anyone have experience with trying this?
