Cheapest blog hosting with own domain?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good blogging service where I can choose my own domain name? The cheaper the better. Either where they give a default blogging software, or if I can install one myself (So they must run PHP, and optionally MySQL.)

if you want only domain, then blogger gives this facility as well

Dreamhost is fairly cheap and reliable.

 

i suggest you to use blogger if you are too cautious of money..else go for some hosting plans here and install wordpress from the fantastico deluxe in your CPanel.. i have been using hosting from a guy here in DP at a cheap price..

I've always liked Hostgator. You can get their smallest plan (I believe) for $5 monthly. It's got Fantastico, so you can get a one click installation of Drupal or Wordpress, or even Joomla to run your blog.

 

use 3ix.org they got $12/year plan. Even though they are not good since I've read too much bad reviews from them and I have also bad experience with them, it is the best way to start a blog. Otherwise, you can use blogger.com which you can add a custom domain with it
