Are there any cheaper alternatives to PayPal so I don't have to pay those fees?

    Hello,

I am a merchant service provider, working with companies that have been in business for over 50 years. I would say that PayPal is the best up until you are processing a resonable amount of money through your site.

After that mark is passed I think it is time to think about using merchant services. As with merchant services depending on your balance sheet and other records we usually stay in between 1 and 3 percent. Plus with Merchant Service providers you get added perks.

I don't know about to many other companies but I know my company offers a no interest cash advance up to $250,000 as long as you have been in business for 6 months, have been processing credit cards for 4 months and are processing at least $4,000 a month. So you can see where merchant services can play their role.

However if your only processing around 100 a month there is no point to switch form PayPal at all.

    Good Luck,
    Nick
