Cheap vs. Expensive

Do Cheaper products convert better for you guys? Or is it the same?

For example: If you have a product that sells for 20$ & a product that sells for 100$, which will get you more customers?

If Ewen Chia's Super Affiliate Weapon sells for about 9-10$...And Affiliate Elite sales for 100$, what would you rather promote if you were just trying to get your affiliate biz of the ground?

    The Main point is:
If you are trying to get your biz off the ground & just make some sales, do you think it's wise to promote cheaper products ?

I've learned the price of the product is not as important as the perceived value in terms of getting sales and making money. Right now one of the hottest selling products on CB is Google Payload which I believe costs $77, at least on the front end.

I find that promoting free offers usually converts better for me personally, if not and you're just building your site around 1 product it depends on the product and the niche, in your personal case id probably go with the cheaper one as long as it has some quality, you may see some faster returns, just my two cents.

I get sales from cheap products as well as costly products.
personally I prefer to promote average cost products that are below $50

My sales are from the minimum to maximum in affiliate payout ($.25 to $100). I don't think it truly matters what a product costs provided to sales page can support the asking amount.

Sometimes making products a little more expensive is better. It will dissipate the fear if it being a cheap product. What would you expect to learn from a $7 product as apposed to a $97 product in the same niche?

My average of all products sold as an affiliate is $21.49.

I find that it is just as hard to sell affiliate elite as it is to sell ewen chia's super affiliates so I never promote anything that does not pay me at least $20 per sale $15 is the lowest I can even think of going depending on the competition

Whether they're cheap or more expensive, you want to promote products that are valuable in that they live up to whatever they claim to be. Some people are willing to pay more fro their IM education than others but everyone expects to get what they're promised.

Besides, you can promote more than one product. This keeps your site from looking like a second sales page anyway.

Sometimes it takes the same amount of effort to make a $10 sale compared to a $100 one so I tend to focus on higher ticket items.
