Convincing employers to submit their jobs -even for free in a new recruitment portal is not easy. I just want to hear from any webmaster who managed to takeoff his services (training, accommodation, events, recruitment, franchise , etc.) web site without spending any penny on marketing Thank you for sharing.
I used to work for a very successful direct marketer who had a saying - "If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys". One way or another you're going to spend something on marketing - if not with dollars, then with time and effort. During my time working for this direct marketer, he spent a great deal of time and effort writing a book about his area of expertise (which became a best-seller) - he used that as a tool to create a huge database. He then sold relevant training, events and information products to these people. In his example the financial cost wasn't great (in fact, he made a small amount of money from the book) - but the time and effort required to create a best-selling book was huge.
