The lens is actually a review page for a popular training program. Squidoo will not delete your lens if you follow their guidelines. My lens has been there for 2 years now and only recently it started ranking high in SERP and generating income.

The lens is completely set and forget type. I am building backlinks for the lens for another popular term. I have already spent around 75$ building backlinks for another phrase. You need not worry about any penalties because I do not build backlinks for the same phrase. I build backlinks for variations of the phrase so that the anchor texts look natural.
