Hi Guys, If you're looking to fill your website with original content that makes money, these are the main things to look out for. 1) Pick popular topic: Look on Google trends, Amazon best sellers, or ebay pulse. Here you will get ideas on what products are selling. You can monetise any topic, through google adsense, affiliate programs and even CPA 2) Do keyword research: a) Use a tool like microniche finder to look at related keywords and the number of searches done per month. If you cannot affort MNF, use the free keyword tool at Wordtracker (google it). Ideally, your keyword/keyphrase should have over 1000 searches per month. b) Put you keyphrase in google "like this" in speechmarks, and see how many pages come up. Ideally if the number of pages is around 50000 or less, you have a relatively low level of competition, as a rule of thumb. 3) Write articles round your keyphrase: Suppose you find a keyphrase "need to buy ipads". It has over 1000 seraches per month and around or below 50000 pages of competition. You need to write an article around that keyword. The article should have the keyphrase as the title and the keyphrase should appear in the article around 2.5%-5% of the time. So "need to buy ipads" should appear in a 400 article around 10-20 times. 4) Ideally you may want to right 2 articles per keyphrase. One for you website and one to submit to Ezine articles. With this method, you're almost guaranteed to get loads of traffic because of the low competition, high search rate. I see so many people just write articles on say "weight loss" with no real thought on search frequency or competition. When buying content for your website, you need to put these factors into consideration. When you're buying articles from DP, do you know how competitive the keyphrase is, or how many searches done per month? You need to ask these questions from the people you buy content from. Hope this helps Mark
Good tips. Finding the low competition but moderate search volume niche is very important to succeed using free traffic.
