Cheap Managed VPS Servers - Choice of location between 4 countries - from $12.95/mo.

Complete scam, i signed up 1.5 hours ago for a VPS in the Netherlands. I went on livechat and talked with Geoff, he told me that within 10 minutes my VPS would be up and running, (i expressed that it was urgent). Now, 1.5 hours later i have still no VPS...

Geoff said "Brb" constantly, after some time he didn't reply for 20 minutes and then suddenly left the chat and went offline from the entire Live chat service...

He says on his website that the business is from 2005, but the domain was registered on the 12 December 2008, roughly 2 months ago.

SCAM!!!

 

Complete scam? Your VPS was setup within 2 hours which is still faster than our quoted setup time on our website of 4-24 hours.
Because I was having internet connectivity issues doesn't make my buisness a scam. We haven't scammed anyone.

Also on our website it says we have been hosting websites since 2005, which we have under various domain names. It doesnt say myProHost was established in 2005.

Anyway not too sure what you got all excited about but I hope this helps address these concerns.

I am uploading at an amazing speed of 0.03 KBPS to their servers using FTP, strongly recomended so far... (Not really)

EDIT: It's now gone down to 0.01 KB per second, so it's not so amazing anymore Chees, i that was so happy and satisfied with 0.03

 

Previous buisness name was AlwaysHosted.com (before the domain sold) and then nexbytesolutions.com (which we still own), and now our current domain name.

Of course you will probably still find something to come running back to the forums with so I'll patiently await your reply.

Actually, i couldn't care less... I have already left your hosting after the speeds you provide, wich is absolutly terrible.

Even tho, i would recomend everyone to go directly with santrex.net and buy the VPS's from them (Where myprohost.com) resell from. This will allow you to cut out the middle man and communicate directly with the provider, and also get the much needed HyperVM controlpanel to leave more in your control.

Even tho, i wouldn't recomendend to be using santrex either, as their speed is absoultly insane, and they are clearly doing some kind of heavy overselling.

Why would nexbytesolutions.com go to an empty hosting account instead of a redirect to nexbytesolutions.com ? What your saying is that you have ran different hosting companies in the feature, but you have all got rid of them and now you have started a new biz where you only resell from a different provider. ? Nor do you resell a good service. congrats.

We also would recommend everyone who is looking for an unmanaged service to choose santrex. However we provide a semi-managed service where we actually help our users with problems (and a lot faster than santrex), so therefore that is what makes the difference.

Your bashing makes no sense because you are on the outside looking in, but once AGAIN, I will point out the flaws in your statements:

nexbytesolutions.com goes to an empty account because we are not using the domain. Does this really need further explanation?

What I'm saying is I've built up and ran successful hosting companies in the past, and simply sold them for lump sums of money, once again, where is the problem there?

We only resell VPS, we do not resell any other services we offer, and as I told you on live chat, we wont be reselling VPS services much longer.

 

This statements says "myProHost has been hosting websites since 2005" while in real life it should say "The owner of this company have run several companys since 2005 and sold them all, he know runs myProHost that was started in early 2009"
