Hi Guys, just looking around for hosting options, some good ones mentioned on the forum. But here's a thought on something i learned recently....ok you're shopping around for hosting and one of the many marketing USPs you see is in-land 24 Hour Support centre etc., for e.g. Shared Hosting pkgs which are cheap and the choice is endless, so when they say in-land/home based support, couldn't it be the case where the Hosting company really hides their ISP to make it look like they are in-land but the reality is that the support is really off-shore in India or the Phillippines? What d'you guys think about this? Is there any concrete way to establish that support is not off-shore?
I think you may have to really know the hosting company to know for sure that they do not use offsite support. Maybe a local company to you might be better.
Is there a specific company you are looking at? if there is, then try calling them a few times at different times of the day
