I need cheap hosting for 1 month. I have 2 large sites that will be put on the server...One gets about 3k uniques a day and the other around 8k uniques. Both have adult content. I will pay $22 to someone who will host my sites for the next 30 days and also transfer everything over from Hostgator to your server. I need this to be done tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest. PM me if you can.
with that traffic, sounds like you need a good VPS with at least 1gb RAM. It's not suitable for any shared hosts, most likely, your visitors will start timing out after a while. Do you know how many concurrent connections you have? And why do you need it for just 30 day s?
My recommendation for VPS stands because of the amount of traffic you see every day. That way you wont' have to worry about the concurrent connections causing problems for the entire server as you'd have your own allocation of resources. But the $22 budget may not be enough. You could try a shared host if you want but it's not very likely the host would be able to sustain you for very long. We have a client that moved from Shared to VPS within our company recently - he had roughly half the traffic of your larger website - he was fine in terms of space and bandwidth but at any point he could have 300-400 people on at the same time which caused issues for the entire shared server since we have to provide for the other clients as well. His account has been fine without any problems since. So I'm only advising from personal experience.
How much disk space do you need? how about the bandwidth? if you want I transfer your site for you. if paid yearly.
As njoker555 said, youll need a good Vps with at least 1gb ram for serving 11k uniques a day ! But it will also depend on the kind of scripts youre using. If they are too cpu intesive, perhaps youll need more than 1gb for running the sites smothly. I dont think youll find a shared hosting account that can serve 11k requests a day.
Guess exmasters, hostgator and just199 will be good for your needs. Their services are inexpensive and resourceful. Support is provided in a quality way.
