Are there any good reputable cheap hosting providers that cost only UNDER $5 a month?? I'm looking for a small hosting plan.

The vast majority of hosting companies will charge under $5 per month for their smaller packages. I would advise doing a post in the 'Web Hosting' section of the B/S/T area here in DP with your requirements, and you're bound to get several positive responses.

What about free hosting? Have you considered that? There is a link in my signature, if you are interested (it has no ads :)).

I'm not going for free hosting...they're most likely all scammers/stealers who will steal your website after you make it successful. FREE is too good to be true.

^^ That is not true. If you are ever interested in learning more about this real service, visit http://www.freewht.com - it is a forum dedicated to free hosting, and would be very educational for you. Cheers, my friend. :)

HostGator.com has a $4.95 hosting service. Personally, I don't use the $4.95 service. I pay $24.95 for a re-seller plan. Before signing up for hosting, check to see if their costumer service is good. I've been a happy camper using their services.

HostGator is a fine host. I was very happy when I used to host with them. Note that the $4.95 price is only if you pay for three years up-front.

Be careful, you really should stick with a large company vs going with some of the unlimited packages offered here.

I would recommend HostGator. Their $4.95 a month baby plan is perfect for starting up online, and you can easily upgrade to more advanced packages. If you decide to choose HostGator through me, I will make your first two months free.

Here is a honest hosting company and plans start at $1.55 a month. I have been with them for over a year!

    http://a1whs.com

Down times are super rare and I have had one for 15 mins and that was a server problem. The rest has been a 100% uptime. Support is quick and helpful.
