    Hello friends,

I'm looking for a "free" forum site to start a forum/bulletin board. Preferably with a threaded message view if possible.

Basically, all I want is a place that I can set-up a forum (a la ProBoards or FreeForum) that includes a threaded view for participants, not just a chronological list.

    Any recommendations?
    Thanks

Are you looking for a) free forum software, or b) free forum hosting?
Besides i would recommend InvisionFree for the latter.

phpbb is good if you want to spend time modifying it.

i recommend phpBB if you can mod it the way you want. I like vbulletin, but i don't like the idea of purchasing it.
