Hey, I just noticed facebook has lowered their minimum amounts for advertising! You can now get ads on Facebook for as little as $5.00 for 2,500 banner displays. Packages go up to $200 for 100,000 displays. Thought I would share this with everyone incase someone wanted to take advantage of it.

That is a good price, I have to say. I will be definitely using this for some upcoming projects that target the current alumni age group. Could you please explain why you think +ROI would be tough? I don't see anywhere on Facebook where it mentions the expected CTR for such an ad position, but I'd like to see the statistics if you have them available.

I dont have anything avilable right now. I will be setting some up in the next week though. You can even choose specific cities and networks tor eally target your displays. I think this is going to work out very nicely for some people.

I wouldn't go with the pay on impression count on sites like that. Your pocket would be empty in an hour.
Recently I tried an ad like that for 500,000 impressions with $25. Had only 4 clicks in very short time :(

It doesn't sound like it would be too effective. I would just go with something like Adwords.
