Chavez sends tanks to Colombia border and threatens WAR with Colombia

Bush accused Chavez's "regime" today of provocation and said the US opposes any act of aggression that could destabilize the region.

Colombia's President Alvaro Uribe said he'll seek charges at an international tribunal against Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez for sponsoring terrorism. Colombia yesterday said it uncovered evidence on the laptop of slain rebel leader Raul Reyes showing Venezuela had funneled at least $300 million to the FARC, as the rebel group is known. Uribe also accuses Chavez's leftist ally in Ecuador, President Rafael Correa, of supporting the rebels of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
