Chat room addition in DP

I want to giv eyou a suggestion that please add a real time chat room so we can communicate fast and in realtime , or can introduce your own massenger where you can add other user of Dp.
do you have any plan?

Why don't you use MSN or Yahoo? Personally, I don't see any need for such a facilty.

A shoutbox would be kinda cool but they are too buggy and for a forum this size, the overhead would suk.

 

Chat room would be great! We can contact each other immediately.

 

It wont be great. Just it would simply add 8 (guess) quseries to the database ad mods will have more work to do....

We can contact easily via MSN/Yahoo messengers..
Even those messenger links are below itrader so its quick too..

That's a valid point, however I doubt if the OP looked at the FAQ first ....

 

I did make an IRC but only a few people used it.

Why can some of the geeks in php sit and create some chat room using sockets !!!

I think you can use this forum for any reason you want a real time chat for.

 

There's a risk that a chatroom would degenerate into a P&R forum type slanging match in my opinion.

 

The forum is more about gaining knowledge than socializing And how will we keep track of these chats? Post a log somewhere??
