Hi, I just wanted to know whether this would work.

I have a link building team. We get projects from various sources but I want to do something for the charity. I mean like I want to concentrate on one issue like child education, AIDS affected children etc. I planned to open up a special site, a "web promotion" site of course but dedicate the full earning to any trust or website that helps these causes.

I am planning it to make it transparent about how each cent is distributed. Even if some organization is willing to take in-charge of all monetary transactions, well and good.

But I dont want to reveal anything about myself or my team. We will make it in the following flow

    1. Service providers willing to do projects for free in spare time (My team will do all projects but if any one is willing to help us, well and good)
    2. A recognized organization or committee taking care of monetary details, (but all details will be displayed on website)
    3. Goods/Items sellers who are willing to help can sell their item without profit for the money from our services
    4. List of charities that gets these items with full details.

Its a 4 way loop, so no loopholes I think. Anything wrong with this idea, please suggest :(

I think it's a great idea, I support any plan to fund-raise for charity. Good luck with it :)

My site is also non-profit, I'll be donating any revenue to Save the Children UK.

Yup thats a good one. I will create a tabular column type data, with the fund raiser, collected amount, cash or items and details, if items the non-profit seller and the charity where it went and distributed.

The more transparent, the more easy to verify by volunteers and also we can firewall all scammers in this. I am expecting the following tricks in this by people:

    1. A seller may try take advantage of this and its hard to prove that he is selling non-profit (By selling I mean selling blankets, food etc) and item quality is another question.
    2. If only cash is transferred its highly probable that a lot of it will be eaten away everytime it changes hands(account)
    3. Service providers may force us to reveal their details or they themselves might reveal it somewhere else for advertisement or to gain popularity.
    4. If I handle the money, then no matter how good I deal, there will be people saying that I make money out of it, so I dont want to handle money.
    5. Buyers may think that the service quality will not be good either because its done for charity or because WE are not revealing our identity so they might think its all trick.

Too hard to do anything good these days ! Am breaking my head regarding this.
