Charity ads showing on my site instead of content related ads after 2 years!!

My Adsense earnings are less than half because of charity ads on my homepage! I recently added a link to the Haiti donation fund, which was obviously a mistake because ever since, all my normal content related ads have been replaced by charity ads!!!!

I have since removed the link (48 hours ago) but still the ads are charity ads. Why am I getting penalised for trying to help out a charity? Surely this isnt right, I tried to do something good but now instead I am earning less than half my normal adsense earnings and the ads on my site will not be clicked at all because they are not related to any of my page content.

I have even re-done my ads, disabling public service ads, now I am getting some charity ads and big blank spaces where my ads should be.

I am losing out too much here and need help!!!! If I don't get this sorted out, I will have to choose a different advertiser.

My site is liveonlinechat.net and the problem is the homepage.

I have managed to contact Google with no reply as of yet and also posted a thread in the Adsense forum, again without reply. So I will try here at DP.

    Any suggestions please, thank you

Its going to take longer than 48 hours to get those ads removed. Might take a week. I had the same problem in the past. I wouldnt say your getting penalized or singled out, its all automated.

Thank you Lex. You know this is the first bit of feedback I have had in 3 days! Thank you DP! I will wait and see what happens. I managed to send an email to Adsense, so I am hoping they can do something asap.

    Thank you for the reply.

It's all ok now, my ads are back to normal. I only tried to do something good to help raise some money for the Haiti fund, just didn't expect to lose out myself.

Yeah, usually that'll happen if you're trying to promote a fund, i.e Haiti. Nice to know that you've finally fixed it.
