Charged for clicks but no visitors

Hello

i have a question for adwords masters, adwords charge me for xx clicks but i see 1 visitor on my site.

I have a simple jpg banner on all pages on my site and it was loaded 1 single time.

So i guess xx-1 visitors from adwords had images disabled ?

That is most likely the case. Although the fault my be from your end. Google has well sophisticated technicalities and so most likely are not erroneous

 

I would recommend adding better tracking. Google offers Analytics, you should implement that to see how much traffic is actually coming to your site via Adwords.

 

True.. I assumed the poster had analytics in his website.. How else can you monitor traffic .. Definitely not by picture loading

 

Yeah, as others have said you should be using Analytics. And once your site is tagged properly, keep in mind that a 'click'(as recorded by Adwords) and a 'visit'(as tracked by Analytics) won't balance evenly. Your enevitably going to see more clicks than visitors due to the how and what each system is tracking.

 

I checked analytics

charged for 110 clicks

1 visitor to the frontpage, confirmed by analytics too.

Any advice ? Did anyone experienced such a thing ?

 

charge but no visitors, that is an problem.

 

Is you site completely loading? If you have analytics buried in the footer and the page doesn't completely load you will get false reports.
