When selling vouchers or gift cards on Ebay, is there any foolproof method to prevent chargebacks? Thanks
ebay system only cover buyer, not seller. so you should take care by your own. surely some ways can decrease possibility to be scammed, like study your customer (dsr, feedback) or you can send it through postal with tracking prove.
the ebay seller protection policy is rubbish. it protects sellers from nothing. so you should know what to expect when you're selling digital products that do not require mail/postal delivery. you don't have your tracking number to build your defense on.
they won't believe you if you don't provide them with what they requested for. how do you provide tracking numbers or any proof of delivery if you're selling legal virtual stuff on ebay (if there are any)? even if you're selling tangible items and use postal services without tracking, you're finished if the buyer opens a dispute claiming he's never received the item. this is what scammers like the most buying on ebay.
