I am small software development company in India. In recent past, I had 2 customers filing chargebacks on payment after service was delivered to them . As it was service, I do not have any substantial proof to convince that service was delivered other than emails. Paypal has blocked the amount . I dont understand what should I do now. My question: 1) How do I get full proof protection from charge backs after software service delivery? 2) Are there other payment processing methods or agency I can use that will protect me from chargebacks or account limited problems? 3) If there are such processors, what are advantages and disadvantages of using them? Send all emails as a proof to paypal about those transactions and then contact them through phone call and explain everything to them. DON.

Other payment processor is MB (Moneybookers) but at the end if your customer is a cheater then they try to cheat you anyway. Still i suggest you to stick with paypal as its widely accepted payment processor so if you change your payment processor then maybe it results in reduce your customers. DON.
And btw you can accept paypal payments in your 2CO account as well as far as i know. Am i right ?? But you need to pay sign up fee ($49) at 2CO. DON.

I have had almost no problems with 2Checkout. They do a fraud check for me. With PayPal, I have been on the wrong of many charge backs. My products are downloads and if the PayPal email account does not jive with the email for the download request, I will always take the time to confirm the order with the PayPal email.
Theres a echeck processor I use that has a policy on chargebacks, basically they are in your favor if you can provide proof of product fulfillment. Your account cant get hurt on cb's that you give proof on.. Its definitely convenient that they are so merchantfriendly
