Character type and limit on usernames.

Not now, but maybe in 2-3 even 5 years from now, what kind of user names will be left available on DP, usernames are like keywords to some, they approach a new idea on the net so they setup a new identity using this keyword, perhaps nows the time to look into this ?

 

I don't think anyone is going to lose sleep over the username character limit. Even at 12 characters, you could still have one billion members named Bob (ie. bob000000001 - bob999999999).

At the very worst, there will be another server crash, and all of the names will become available again.
