Channels

Could someone help me with setting up channels. I have 2 different sites that I need channels on.

 

Just setup a url channel from your adsense account.

Or create a new one with a channel name and add that channel ID/code in your adsense code on your sites.

 

Ok im so confused.

I have a channel called - Jaguar CXF. I just created with the wizard.
Now do i just select that when im about to create ad?

 

Yes select that channel when creating ad..
It will automatically add your channel ID in the final code.

 

But it doesn't come up with regular ads. It comes up with some hurrican katrina crap instead of my topic.

See how those 2 ads are about Jaguars? Well those aren't under a channel. The ones under the channel are not even related to cars. Like these adds.

Channel is a type of tracking system..
You can't control what type of ads you want.
Ads are shown according to content relevancy..

 

The hurricane ads will display until media bot comes and scans your page. It will then know what ads to put up. Just give it 24-48 hours and you will have car etc ads

 

The Hurricane deal is a PSA which shows when Google has no data for your site or if there are no ads to show for your niche <-- very rare - you seem to be OK now as I am seeing Jaguar ads.
