I'm still having trouble figuring some of the channel stuff out, hopefully someone can explain it to me. I currently have two sites using adsense. I have two URL channels set up, domain1.com and domain2.com. When i run an aggregate report for last month's revenue, i get a total of $162.43. When i run a channel report for last month's revenue, i get a total of $130.45. I made sure that only both URL channels were selected. Shouldn't they add up to be the same amount?
Something i just noticed. My URL channels are actually: "www.domain1.com" and "domain2.com" Can the discrepancy with the two amounts be due to the www preceding domain1? If someone comes onto the site with just "domain1.com," would that count as a different URL?
check again that may be u use direct ad with your publisher id and u r not categorized that ad on any channel. or may be u r get bonus for best ctr. i m also new in online world but i m hope this is help u.
Sometimes, I found that google had slight difference on how you sum up your total income. I tried using URL channels and other channels, the amounts usually have <$1 difference. Maybe due to google's statistic algorithm. Sometimes, google adjusts a bit of its statistics after a few days.
Ok i found what why there was a discrepancy. It was because one of my channels was www.domain1.com. After changing all channels to be just domain1.com domain2.com, it all adds up to be the total amount for the day.
