Received the same email response from them yesterday morning. Obviously this is a larger problem than they thought.
My earnings are way down since this bug occured Monday night. Hope they have it fixed by the weekend!
I think the guys at Google would laugh their a$$es if they see saw the madness in this thread Take a break people, have a cup of coffee/tea/whatever...
Well todays earnings for me have increased 10 fold, I've gone from earning 0.50cent for 15+ clicks (average over last 2 month) to earning $3 today already with 10 clicks and its the same ads? My channels are not working yet but I don't care to be honest as long as this increase stays put
Channels still not working here. A friend of mine in California (30 mins from Google Offices) said his are working fine... hmmmmmmmmmm
The wont be when this actually gets enough publicity. I was expecting a story about this to be on top of digg right now :/.
Hope this gets fixed soon!!! my earning has gone down since this happened!!! i used to make $ 14 to 18 in a Day! now its only 6 to 10
Ha, so who is going to Digg this thread? As has been said I would expect some "Official" reply from AdSense by now on their blog *but* thank goodness for forums like digitalpoint that allow people to report what is going on to each other. Personally, I think it is cause of the up coming addition and some tech fubar'd and getting their butt handed to them over the mistake. I bet a lot of people are very pist off right now and wondering who the hell is AdSense bombing them. At least one good thing for me has came out of this whole thing.
Day 5 and the problem still continues its really frustrating that they can't fix this issue. I guess it must be pretty big or they just don't care.
They don't care...I'm in California and channels still are down. As long as I'm still making $$, I can live with it until they find a fix.
I have switched over from Custom Channels over to URL channels and it is tracking again. You guys could try the same thing out if it is not to much work for you.
I can confirm this, I had just posted on another thread before I saw this one. I have a personal blog that is not recording pageviews normally. It IS recording channel data but it seems erratic. Unless I'm missing something, it is just the channel separation, the clicks and pageviews on aggregate data SEEMS normal, or maybe I was supposed to be making more $ ? I think it's just the channel separation, not the overall logging of pageviews and clicks. I doubt Google would mess up on that vital part....but if it did this is serious bad publicity just around the corner.
