Yes. I'd recommend anybody seeing invalid clicks to just ride it out and not report it. It's totally ridiculous that Google Adsense is accusing me of "invalid clicks" when I reported the suspicious actvity and added all my sites into the "allowed list". WTF is the purpose of an "allowed list" if you get banned for clicks occuring outside of the zones you specify ??? Even funnier, when I logged into my Adsense account before I was banned, on the "allowed list" page, there was a link that said "You have clicks coming from the following sites outside of your allowed sites"... When I looked at the list, it was a bunch of IP's that were Google datacenters and one link to copyscape.com. What a bunch of retards at Google... For Christ's sake, AdBrite, Chitika, etc all *audit* clicks before publishers are paid, Google is like the top technology company, what I don't understand is why they find the need to indiscriminatly ban publishers and keep their earnings money instead of simply deducting their supposed "invalid clicks" ??? The only answer I have to that is Google are doing it on purpose. The fact they won't release evidence of invalid clicks to a publisher is indicative of their scam.
i'm going to contribute big in this thread by saying, having no channels sucks!!! even adsense can break from time to time.
ohhhhh........... My problem is solved. My Adsense channel get problem, but i think my blog banned by google. I am very unhappy. After reading this post, my problem solved. This is not my problem-- problem of google.com Thanks for this post.
same problem, but luckily it is a common one so I don't need to worry They have removed the "top channels" link for Adsense for content for today
I have been having this problem since monday. Kind of strange. I optimized my pages saturday. Sunday my click through rate jumped about 10%. Then monday my channels weren't working. I emailed google support about it and got back an auto reply saying they could not update my email address. Since I didn't ask to update my email I'm a little confused and concerned. I don't want to start a panic, but this is what happened. Greg
I noticed this problem a couple of days ago. I emailed AdSense support about it, and got back a reply this morning: That sounds like it's the first they knew of it, but having now discovered many threads here and elsewhere complaining about it, I guess it's a global problem. The totals are OK, but it's a real nuisance not having the breakdown by channels.
Im sure that Google has defiantly heard about this! My bet is its something to do with a new feature they are bringing in that will allow you to update your adsense ads without having to actually re-install the code. You can read more about this feature here: http://adsense.blogspot.com/ Im guessing they have to re-write the way channels work in order for it to function with this feature. But then again I may be completely wrong
I'm also seeing slightly higher earnings than usual. With no way of seeing where it is coming from, it really sux... especially since I've just started an experiment with We Finance Loans
It will say 4,700 Page Impressions and when I click top channels nothing will drop down... and if it does drop down on different time periods the counts do not match up with the total count at all :-\
Besides of the problem with channels, my CTR and earnings went down to half since tuesday :/ Anyone else has experience this as well?
Yep...biggest drop in earnings this year for me at the same time as channels not working....something is not right.
but YOUR adsense code IN FULL including your adsense publisher account code starting pub-257176 ... still shows up in clear language on your pages if a surfer views page source ... there is NO secrecy in knowing your adsense code at all.
Hi guys, For the last 3 days, my channels report zero stats, which is weird because I haven't made any changes to my channels. Instead of the custom-made channels, the clicks are now being placed under url-channels. Has anyone got the same problems I have? grz caps
Exactly the same problems -- strange that Google hasn't addressed it, either via email or on the AdSense blog. They're normally really good about things like that.
The URL channels work. The custom channels are all fubar'd for right now. So, I had to go back and discount my custom channels and set everything up as url channels to get things to track. It was also meantioned that the white list will allow for you to block other sites running your code not to run it. I since enabled it and found a few sites that I forgotten about and sold off running my adsense pub-id. Which is great sort of, no bad content on those pages, so I now put those into my URL channels and now tracking how much earnings are coming from sites I don't even own now. .
Same here, I think that's a bug: http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-help-troubleshooting/browse_thread/thread/c9fed1c9c446a6fd
yep, my account is showing normal earnings but 0 impressions and 0 clicks. It'll be normal in a few days.
