Channels and Content

    HI,

    I recently got adsense and I was setting it up for this forum, and it said something about channels.

    Could someone explain to me what this is because I had looked and cant find a clear explanation.

    Channel allows us to know where the clicks are coming from. For example, I have 3 sites where I am using Adsense Code. For DigitalPoint revenue sharing I have created a channel named 'DP'. Similarly i have created separate channels for different sections of my site. The adsense code used in the site can include this channel id and when a click is registered, it helps me to know which section is getting most views / clicks.

    I thought thats what it was. How do I set it up, well I set it up just couldn't find an ID.

    It automatically ads the code for you, when you go in and make your ad then choose the channel, the code generated afterwords will have the channel code embedded into it for tracking you clicks for each channel.

    Channels are used to monitor specific place on one site or sites, it displays individual Reports for channels!
