channel tracking subfolders of folders

I see that with the example at google.
"sports. example .com/widgets track all pages below a specific directory"

example: sports. example .com/widgets/widgets2/widgetpage.html
by setting a channel (sports. example .com/widgets ) will widgetpage.html be tracked since it is in a subfolder of widgets?
