Selling Channel Shack - Amazing Website & Opportunity

I've decided to sell this website because I have no interest in it any longer and would love to hop into a different niche and test out the waters there. I want to sell this website mainly based on potential, opportunity and money spent on it so far but obviously it's earning a little too. I spent $500 on the design here at DP in a contest. I spent around $2,000 - $3,000 on coding in total (I think).

The website needs somebody who is going to put plenty of time and work into it to bring it out on top where it belongs. It's already floating around page 1 and 2 for it's major keywords (free movies, watch movies, watch movies online etc...) but I don't have the time to work on it so it's a wasted box of potential at the moment.

Still not convinced that you'll make a return with something like this? Take a look here at a thread where I sold my old website in this niche, in which I made over $60,000 in 6 months with little work - now imagine putting some real, hard work into it with all of these extra features and an even larger available audience with the extra content (tv shows, anime, sports, documentaries etc...) just waiting to find this website. I know you're convinced now. The person who bought this website from me is now sitting happy since the website is no longer sandboxed. Proof you say?

WEBSITE FEATURES:

Administrator: Updating and editing the website is very easy. You can add/edit pages, manage genres, update the homepage slider and news, add/edit/delete/ban users, view/add/edit/delete links and photos, send newsletters, manage hosts (automatically stored when links are added) so that you can control which sites you are linking out to, manage the forums, moderate submissions and manage reports. There is also a spam filter where you can add words or competing websites so that any comment/message that is posted on the containing these is automatically deleted. Adding content is simple. When adding a movie for example, all you need to do is enter the name, year and genre and the system will collect the rest for you (currently just the cast, but you could have it get the photos, quotes and questions and answers too).

Moderators: The moderators just get access the moderator page so they can accept or decline submissions. We could also give them access to moderator reports of dead links, bad comments or abusive users.

Users: Creating an account is quick and easy. Once verified, users can login and start using all of the sites features. They will be able to see notifications if they have any, see recent activity from their friends, edit their profile, change privacy settings, add an avatar, update their status, update their mood, add friends, send messages, become a fan of content and celebrities, post comments on content, celebrity and user pages and submit links and content (including quotes, news, photos, questions and answers) for content and so much more. Users get a profile displaying their name, age, location, last location on the site, mood, status, avatar, membership type, about me, like to meet, recent activity, links added, links a fan of, celebrities a fan of, friends and comments.

Forums: There are forums that have been coded, which are managed via the admin panel but these have never been introduced to the website. The layout of the forums need changing a little and additional features could be introduced.

No offence here intended and I did read your other post which left me with even elss confidence, but can you tell me exactly why this is worth $6k? I'd be willing to offer 500-600 for it at most. At it's current pace it would take me 2.5 years to make my money back on the original investment? Let alone the cost it would take to push the site. I'm not being rude here at all, I'm just intrigued and perhaps if you were to enlighten me a little you may answer most questions people will probably have about this.

 

That's based on what has been put into the website so far, and what the future holds for it, as well as current earnings. I'm open for offers. This is just a buy it now price.

Do you realise that your offer would be laughable at best, based on current earnings alone? This is not scrap that has been thrown together overnight. This website has a backend of over 700 files, so as you can imagine, alot of hard work, time and money has gone into it. The database has over 40,000 actors/actresses in it, 1,000 links and 45,000 stored searches.

I'm not interested in offers from cheap skates with no understanding of making real money online. This website needs somebody to put real time and effort into it and it will be successful. I don't know how my other thread didn't convince you, you do realise that site made me $60k easily? You do realise it is now out of the sandbox and on page one for a major keyword in free movies, right?
