Channel in Adsense

How can we put the channels in the adsense?
Some one told me that by this we can exactly know where we get from the clicks and the page impressions.

Its a good idea to put the channels in the adsense.
By this we can see the sources.

Channels are very useful to track which ad units gives you the most CTR and also if you have more than 1 site, channels helps to track which sites giving you the most CTR. You can add channels in your adsense code while creating the codes for your pages from your adsense account.

 

But how can I put it in my account?

 

I will explain bit clear...

just login to ur account and click Adsense Setup and click Adsense for Content or Adsense for Search and select Ad unit or Link unit and continue, select the options as per your need and click continue and now this is the page to add the channels, below All Channels click Add New Channel and give a desired name to identify where you are going to put the adsense code, ex. if you're site is about mobile, then you can put mobile in the add new channel box and click continue. Now copy your adsense code and place it on your site.. you can do it for other sites or other pages as well... now whenever clicks made on your site you can track which site or page gives you the most revenue or CTR like that... hope this helps..

But is it possible to give just only the name of the site in the channel option?
Or did we put the sites compleate address?
