Channel ID filed problem for Adsense - DP ads

I have a little problem with setting up the channel ID in the control panel of this forum. It gives you the option of entering your Adsense ID#, which seems to work fine. However, when I try to enter a chanel ID, it gives me an error saying:

Anybody had the same problem? Did you find a solution?

Well, first you need to create a channel for Digitalpoint within Adsense itself. Then go to your "Adsense for content tab" select the relavent channel. In your code block you will see:

That's the number you need to enter. (The number will be different for your account and channel)

 

You have to create a Channel in your adsense account.

Then Copy the Channel And put it in your USER CP options - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

Next just copy the Channel Number.

Thanks for your replies - I did it!

My problem was I did not realize I needed to go back to Adsense for content and select to dp channel I created under Ad layout code as though I would be creating a new ad code, then select only the # of the channel and enter that into DP options.

How quick did you start earning? I have not been here long, but I have yet to see a reference to my Digital Point channel in my reports. This means there have been no displays, so no chance of clicks yet.

But, how often do people here click on the ads? There may be times times when highly relevant ads become irrelevant.
