    Hi,

Can someone explain to me, or refer me to a site, that explains how exactly to use the Channel Feature in Google Adsense?

    Thanks,
    Ben

The channel feature is like a stats watcher.
For example, when i was a kid, i ate food in school cafeteria.

There would be a woman with a counter(small shiny clicker), and everytime someone walks in to get food, she clicks. Thus 1 person has entered.
So for a channel, think of it as a clicker, that monitors your Ad impressions(people entered).
Channels are great tool to find out what works and what dont. Like if you placed your ads on the left side, under the channel (mySiteLEFT). you can track what ads get clicked and what ads dont.
By doing this u can replace certain ads to skyscraper or banner from text links to maximize your revenue.

    Impressions ?
Thats the amount of unique visitors a day at ur site.(i cud be wrong here, could someone clarify that)

Also a quick way to earn revenue is by sharing ads in forum. Such as this one, there are others like mines(signature) out in the web.

I use them with a descriptive name so that I know which type of ad was clicked on and where it was on the page. You can then look at the clicks each one got and see which ones are performing and which one's aren't.

You can use a channel description which includes the type of ad unit, position on page, colour scheme, e.g, leaderboard-top-blue, med-rect_sidebar-red or something like that.

And if you have more than one website add something to the channel name to show that it was an ad on that site as well.

All you have to do is create your ad in google and give it a descriptive channel name, then paste that specific ad code in the place you want it on the page.
