i just noticed that my channel data is about 10% higher than my aggregate data when i do a 'select all' channel report. it seems like it's been going on for a while now, but i'm not sure why. is this normal?
um.. maybe, but i don't really think so. for instance, if i choose 'last month' and aggregate data i get the number X. if i choose 'last month' and channel data (with all channels selected) i get x+$400 .... same thing with daily and weekly reports. i guess i never noticed this before.
Do you have some that have a custom channel plus a URL channel? That will throw it off. You can just deselect the URLs.
matt - no, that wasn't it, but you made me think and i figured it out. i have some duplicate channels that i didn't realize were being counted twice. for instance i have one channel for mydomain.com and another for subdomain.mydomain.com when i do a 'select all' it counts the income from mydomain.com and then adds on subdomain.mydomain.com even though that's already been counted... DUH.... sorry to bump the thread again.. discussion ended
