Chaning site platforms several times: does google penalize?

I am considering moving my site from wordpress to joomla. I have already switched the site from one platform to another two years ago, and have also moved the site from one domain to another. My questions is: does google penalize this kind of "instability"?

I am wondering if so many fundamental changes to the site are cumulative in google's eyes, and if it looks down on it.

I realize there is the issues of my articles losing their accumulated seo juice, but I can put permanent redirects to the articles in their new locations. My primary question is in regards to the repeated changing things around.

Does anyone have some thoughts and/or wisdom on this?

Not penalize, but you will lose your SE rankings for keywords at first, a dip and then you will set right if you have done the configuration and redirection correctly. but why changing platforms often ?

It would not cause any problem if you have done it in the right way.

    - Keep the old indexed url structure. Otherwise it would be found as a mass of 404 error pages and cause your website ranking dropped due to "unstable" you are afraid of. You may consider do 301 redirect to each url from an old structure to a new one in case you cannot keep them.

    - Keep old on-page factors including H1, bold / strong, etc.

    - Keep old internal linking structure whereas possible

    - Important : Keep old indexed content to show your website stability.

You wont be penalized for this. But you will lose SE rankings as your website IP will change several times :)

Your website ranking will be effected by doing so. Google would not penalized to you.

Thank you. I'm changing platforms simply due to the evolution of my project. As I move forward I become more clear on what it is my site is becoming. I thought it was a blog but now I realize it is much more and I need to use Joomla and forums. I've searched extensively for ways to make it work with wordpress but it's not going to work for me. I had considered keeping the wordpress blog and adding joomla in a folder, but finally decided that is going to be a big headache in the long term.
