While verifying my PayPal account, I did everything but entered wrong PAN information by mistake. Now my account is showing limited and in the resolution centre, it's showing "Verification in progress" against "PAN Information". Is there any way to add the correct PAN information replacing the wrongly added one?
I have been asking this around but no one is answering? Do users who have already entered their valid PAN number (after the RBI rule was enforced around april by paypal) and whose account is working normally (without any limitation or issues), see a "CHANGE" option next to their PAN card number when they click "withdraw to bank" option within paypal? Can they enter a new one? I am not asking you to lab test your account.. You dont not need to click save! Just see whether you can enter a new one in the field! Also check whether the same option exists in your profile option?
You can change as you see change option but as per RBI rules and Paypal,when you change,it will check to see its your real, PAN number and its matching or not
Come on thats not helpful.I am asking about whether such guys can do that? If you have already entered your real pan and your account is working fine, you can check that too. Why that knowledge can be helpful to many is bcoz, one can enter some kinda of pan right now for the time being and later change it. As far as my account is concerned, i never added any pan number but paypal has populated my pan field with their default Pan code (AAAAA9999A), may be thats why i have change option if other dont have it? See,I dont know whats true but it can be like that for example say your name is James Patel,and you have Paypal account on your name:James Patel and you also have PAN card on your name but as far as i know,situations like today due to Paypal-RBI,PAN is compulsary so PAN card on your name if you add that only will be correct rather than adding other PAN card.
whats your account status? Entered real pan? and working? So do you see change option when you try to use "withdraw by bank" option or look into profile section? Can you enter a new PAN. I am not telling you to save new pan. Just check!
I didnt try and dont know what are results when you do.In my last post,I was giving you an example and mostly,you have to enter PAN number matching name on Paypal account and alsobank account
I didnt changed anything since i entered my PAN card long back when Paypal told to add PAN card to Paypal account Why dont you add your PAN as when you go to Paypal.com,you can see advertisment that without PAN card,your payment recieving will be stopped and you will not be allowed to withdraw money to bank account.Last date is August 22

Yes, there is a change of PAN options when you do withdrawals to bank, during that time you can change it, since i have never used it i am not quite sure whether the change applies to your paypal account or only for that withdrawal, however that is an option that you can exercise to provide them with the correct PAN.

I dont see any help in last so many posts. When my all posts are in paypal section only, that means i know/question about the same topic only and not just roam around and say gibberish in every board around ! My name is also based on paypal and i opened a account here to discuss paypal only! Happy? Point is if you cant answer somebody query, there is no point replying!
Okay guys don't fight , stay cool buddies . I replied to PayPal many times and one of their reviewer said that "we know having account limited is very irritating" , "i have passed your account to higher authorities and your problem will be solved soon". This reply was made 20 days ago still they did nothing, i tried sending mails again and they replied yes we are doing something and sort of reply.
I ranted on them through email and they responded the above No I didn't tried calling them. I will be giving a phone call to them soon.
