Changing Wordpress...?

I was wondering if it would be possible to change any Wordpress blog into a website rather then a blog.

What I mean is. Change it so basically it as a navigation like a website rather then displaying the content by date, archive, etc.

I am sure I have seen this been done before.

If you use WordPress to create 'pages' only (rather than posts) you could create a website-like look and feel.

Also, you can choose to exclude the widgets for categories, recent posts, archives etc.

Take a look at "magazine style" themes. Revolutions comes to mind.

I have a few websites which use wordpress - see the first link in my sig. Rather than using pages I use posts but change the dates to manipulate the order which they are shown. You can then edit the template so remove comments, etc so it looks more like a standard website.

That looks like a great theme (calling it a theme seems too narrow, it's more than that) - will come in useful
