Hey guys, Pretty new here but have been reading for a while. Anyway, I got a question regarding changing HTML titles for better SEO. My browser titles look like: Blog Title >> Post Title I want to change it to: Post Title | Blog Title. How do I go about doing this? I'm running wordpress 2.7 and I have All in one SEO plugin installed. However, I understand this is just changing meta titles and not the true title as I still see the same title format
You're all set with All in one SEO plugin, ain't the reason you're changing the tile is to get better seo? So what if it doesn't change the real title as well. I believe it actually does, so just chill.
you need to go to: [your domain name] /wp-admin/options-permalink.php Custom Structure /%postname%/%blogname% hope that helps!
this will change the title on the individual posts and not on the homepage. @OP, you can either edit the main index file manually or use all in one seo plugin for wordpress to change your index page title
I actually have All in one Seo installed. Is it supposed to change the actual title on the browser or only the stuff behind the links?
