I don't know anything about html and wordpress..but I have a wordpress blog and wanted to change the theme to something new.. How do I go about this? please help..
I wrote here coz I am requesting for simple and easy to do procedures on how to change wordpress themes, which I am sure many of our friends here at digitalpoint can provide. I cant hire someone else to do it due to some personal budget restrictions..
A good place to start is http://www.tizag.com/ after that its up to you to learn like the rest of us did. Start with HTML and then CSS after that consider PHP. If all you want to do is change colors and font styles on your page then go straight to CSS its very easy to learn for things like that.
Do you want a unique theme or just a different look theres literally tens of thousands of free themes out there you can just upload one to your themes folder the select it via the admin panel job done. Google is your friend on this
just find a theme.. and upload the extracted content to wp-content/themes directory on ur server... then go to design(wordpress >2.5) or presentation (<2.5) and u'll find the theme there! if u want to edit the theme.. first CHMOD all the contents of the theme folder to 777!
