    Hi there,

I want to know does it affect the ranking of the sites in the Search engines if we change the web hosting?

    Regards

I just move ours and no issue. Even when we couldn't get the database connection working for 2 weeks, it had no impact.

Suggestion, move the site to the new host first. Get it working and then change the DNS.

If you have the Google Webmaster Tools set up on your site, it will tell you if there is a problem and give you ~ 2 weeks to fix it before something is altered by Google.

No....it won't affect the ranking of the sites in the Search engines if you change the web hosting.

    Dear bushib,

I only have my own experience,
    but here's what we saw.

    We changed hosts twice.
Each time traffic all but stopped for a few weeks.
We disappeared from the search results.
It took about a month to recover.

    Best Wishes,

We moved our host two years ago, and as catanich said above, had no issues whatsoever. However, we also set up our site on the new server, and tested it before changing the DNS information. All went off without a hitch, and we didn't lose one iota of rankings; not even for a moment.

Make sure that your site is working correctly and then change your DNS servers. There should be no issues IMO with SERPs so long as your site is up and running when the nameservers are changed...

It greatly affects traffic but it depends on how com petitive your niche is.
    1. Host in the target country
    2. G will take a site more seriously if you have a dedicated server
Think of it as pulling up in a Aston oppose to a Hyundai.....
    3. ALso the server giving you inbound has an affect also
Many domains that have 1000 sites on them invarably have some rogue sites or links on them too.
People, credit companies even friends make judgements on ones geographicas and search engines are no different.
If you have a site with 50 uniques a day who cares
If you want #1 for "cheap airline tickets" you had better believe it.

I think this was an issue years ago, but from my experience it doesn't really affect SERPS any more.

well as such ther is no effect by changing the hosting.......but if that hosting has some of the websites hosted on it which are harmful or are related to porn then your website might get affected for search engine.......also make sure that the server gives you more accessibility and more faster opening the website
