I have a 2 year old site with some longer URL's than I realy want. The URL's are found by google and the other SE's and rank decent but I'm thinking that the URL structure may be slowing me down from topping the charts.

I've spent alot of time building links to these internal pages but this just keeps bothering me. Help to figure out what to do!

Here's an example of the structure

    www.mysite.com/listing/All/NY/All/

    Could be

    www.mysite.com/NY/

Change it but make sure you 301 redirect the old version to the new version. This is absolutely critical if you want to retain rankings.

I would like to keep them as users aware of that URL. If You plan to change URL then make sure that you have redirected old URL using 301 redirect.

i would not like to keep them as there it shall create duplicate content and eventually those pages shall disappear from serps so its better to 301 your old pages to your new pages.
